實現多年的理想?? 唉 ！有排等..........

上一个的色彩人生畫像意念係來之我最近或一直想做D兒童圖解／圖示(Illustration)旣心血來潮! 係送俾自己而鼓勵自己積極D去實現多年的理想。不過唔知last幾久呢?

很想去畫水彩畫, 最喜歡 watercolor Illustration 畫、(好似 Mike Inkpen/ Stephen Cartwright/ Anette_blog artist/Janee_blog artist or 日本式D可愛果種公仔畫 "之後也認截識有个blogger_Twinmom 也是好画之人")

上一陣子，同一位本地曾修過藝術大學D日本女子(正在出售兒童书)倾过点樣去做呢？佢就話"一就去本地旣藝術院读四年或半功讀、二就是去Art supplier store 查一查D bulletin board内，有很多人教學畫畫架!"
也曾問過其他Illustrator意見，意見一至‧‧‥

我喜欢學畫一D可爱得意D兒童公仔或故事书‧但自己係冇乜天份、一定要拜師或翻學之得，是唯一方法。"遲下去查一查在本地是否有人教画依D画!"

我一向嘅理想系學做識畫兒童公仔书的畫家(尤其現在更想為仔仔成 長中畫畫)，之後再出自己的精品等...哗！大个頭喎！不過我另一半舆家人尤其姐姐非常支持我(精神同經濟上添)，唔知咧.... 我个人很懒又唔嗱嗱声去行动，未必做得到...唉！為有Excuse自己--> 事機未到呱! 適當D時候就会架啦！... 咁！幾時見正係時機呢？點解唔現在去實現多年的理想?? 唉 ！有排等..........仔還細呱....... (試圖辯解_懒!!)

Canola Fields in the city

While driven to car service center to fetch up Hubby today, discover an empty field fills with Canola plants just beside a busy Street.

一塊荒蕟已久的菜籽田！好美呀！
It's so beautiful, yellow colors Canola fields. This field were left empty for years, I suppose it was a Canola field decade ago, now it's commercial lot (surronded by office building, I removed the building), still plenty of Canola growing in this dirt and empty field! Yes, this is Canola plants that can turn into Cooking/Salad oil, whice every house may have it in their kitchen cabinet!

好多蚊呀！走呀！
Hubby drove us there for me to shoot some pictures, as soon we step out the car and approaching the dirt field,, the mosquitoes came fly toward us for their "Dinner" time.
Boy Boy yell and shout "好多蚊呀！走呀！" Poor son, mommy make him stay for couple of pictures,, then he ran away！

Actually No,,, This is cotton looking fir (Pollen),
falling off from Old big and Mature Poplar trees,, flying all over the city.
I captured this cotton looking pollen on the ground near my office.
Neat Yar !! (except people with allegy will hate to see this !)
It's just like snowing when the Pollen flying on the air,, and on the ground,, it looks just like pile of snow.

世上不止媽媽好！嫲嫲也好也偉大！

" 世上只有媽媽好也該有另一个版本吧！因为嫲嫲一樣好一樣偉大！
今日發生的事要記下留给我兒子"熙熙"，佢要牢牢記住嫲嫲多偉大！

回想上个星期三發生的事，我心酸溜溜的，眼淚就流出來！

星期三上班時、我同事 Terry 說:
"May，电話"

"Hello"

"請問妳係咪May呀?"

"係呀!你係邊位?"

" 噢！我正在係Downtown陪住你 mother in law，佢帶住你仔仔，不過佢头先係电梯上跌倒、个头腫起來、佢話打於个电話可以找到你、當時佢係同你仔仔一齊跌倒架、不過你仔仔就冇事" 而我聽了後青天辟力、心都掉下來！

這 女士繼續說: "你mother in law 話佢自己冇事、可以自己行番去、不過我見佢个头咁腫，我唔俾佢走、但佢又冇Health care帶係身、我唔知好唔好叫救傷車、又唔知要唔要錢? 我揸唔到主意，之後佢話你係报馆做、(MLI 唔識英文，唔知兒女的公司名同电話而我又係报馆做易記又易换D) 你可以來嗎 ? 妳仔仔係依度、佢冇事、我可以等到你來再番公司啦！"

"當然可以，你哋係边度downtown呀? 如果佢头有腫、麻煩妳即該帮我叫救傷車、我馬上到!"

抄抵地此後立即打俾老公通知佢也即刻回合我、唉！在這緊急時候、个手提电話冇哂錢！用唔到！死啦！到時我点樣通知hubby我哋位此呢？即時同事借左佢手提俾我應急！
當時我心好急好乱、眼唳湧了出來、好担心、因为跌到頭係好大件事、再加上我母親也是俾电單車(mototcycle)碰撞伤到个头、惱内部出血而去世的............

见我心慌意乱，老板娘提議載我去，加上Downtown難泊車‧ 載我去放便我‧
不 到五分钟我到了Downtown、找不到、又责怪自己沒拿对方的电話，心好急‧停下來、问Retail store 一位女子是否有見倒一个老人家跌倒又帶住一位小朋友? 對方話冇‧不过佢即刻打电話问保安. 好采保安話去另一座大夏就会见到‧我聽極都搅唔清楚边一个方向‧而保安即刻叫另一位保安帶我去‧等佢來時、我眼淚又留了，女孩看到给我一張纸巾‧
不久保安仔帶我去到‧我看到醫務人員正在帮MIL檢查、仔仔跑向我叫: "媽咪"
我抱仔仔一下、我再睇睇MIL情形、问後她，心好担心，醫務人員calm 我down,, :"don't worry, she look ok, we still checking on her"
我即刻多謝那位女士好心睇住我家人，又袒誤她上班、拿了她电話後再了解發生什么事.
"佢哋話MIL拖住个仔仔上电梯、仔仔忽然退后向上MIL身上跌、MIL一時扶唔住、跌落地上‧ "
当時我问仔仔知唔知道嫲嫲点会跌倒，冇照厄嫲嫲呢？ 嫲即刻話:"细路仔嗎！唔識架，我怕嚇趁佢咋"
我安慰仔仔:"冇事，唔使怕！媽咪陪住！"

Paramedic 檢查之后、觉得只係皮外伤，佢私人意见冇需去医阮、but it's up to me to decide and they will admit my MIL with my call. 但我见MIL个伤口好腫、以仿萬一、我要帶MIL去入院檢查清清楚楚.
后來 Filling up all Medical questions，我同仔仔一起上救护车去closer medical clinic.
D醫務人員好有耐心有愛心安慰我、好多謝當時多位好心人士、用盡好意帮我哋‧所以話人间係有情、我一向冇懷疑此理、而今天更今我體会更深！

到了Medical Clinic 時, 當我等候MIL依次輪流睇医生時, 我再问MIL当時情形‧
MIL: 我哋買左野後就準備上楼去花園行吓！(Devonian garden located inside the downtown shopping Mall, build for downtown office stuffs, usually downtown have limited greenspace, so it's a relax place for Downtown people who still able to enjoy nature. ) 我拖住阿熙手上电梯、点知阿熙突然上左三板电梯退后，跌落我前身，我一下企唔懚，我快快抱住佢驚佢受伤，我们 "绿" 落幾极电梯跌倒囉！最緊要阿仔冇事，冇嚇趁！我都冇事旣！唔使担心囉！

聽到後我心好酸痛, 我MIL可以咁大犧牲保護个孫仔也不顧自己身體已紙弱又年老.... 我無言....

之後即刻講俾Paramedic聽MIL係电梯跌幾极並不是跌落地下咁簡單，可能那位女士翻譯的唔清楚、我係有责任再重複事實等醫生好好檢查清楚！

我又轉回头问仔仔為什么佢向後退呢？知唔知道嫲嫲抱住佢保護佢而跌倒头呢？而仔仔沒出聲、我知道我仔仔避开講這过程，重係好混亂那一殺那的事情發生、我也唔再提而抱住佢！我同MIL講:" 其實仔仔跌吓唔係大问题，係老人家要锡住自己，萬一跌伤好長手尾架！"
MIL: "冇啦！最緊要细旣無事無嚇到、我冇事、其實我哋周不時嘟來依度，上落电梯嘟惯旣，细路仔唔知旣、突發發生、我唔想仔仔有事、你唔好再问佢囉！"

看到MIL坐在椅子上「撐下去」時不時按按頭又按肩膀、這一刻，我好沉重我強忍眼淚.........
我家婆不止為我這个家付出很多，他不收我们的钱、他說他有老人金，用不多，每每我上班的两天帮我照厄大的和小的，有時头昏身弱都不说出、怕我上不了班、又為我们準備晚餐、老火湯、年年我生日一定封一封大利是俾我，對我有如女兒一樣！
而今天他為仔仔而不厄一切、用自己的弱體也要保護仔仔，無私奉獻，這種嫲嫲的愛甚至偉大吧！

媽媽同嫲嫲也有同一樣的共同點，所以世上不止媽媽好，嫲嫲的愛一樣好，一樣咁偉大！

仔仔，嫲嫲的愛你要緊記！而對你毫無保留付出的愛, 關心及教導, 千萬要記得！好好珍惜！好好孝顺你旣嫲嫲！

我就只有無言感激！多謝！
(MIL was seen by doctor, with no major injury, no head injury. She was discharge to go home, making sure to monitor her for next few days for any symptoms. )

Biking day

After Saturday Lunch, we went to Deerfoot Mall parking lot where there is a mini Fun fare going on, a few children or adult rides and some game stands.

Brayden first daring on some ride!! He was so scare and hessitate trying any ride before this.

Surprisely this time he said he wants to try, and he tried on a few kids slow ride.
So happy he is ready for some adventure.....a good start.......... :)

In the Evening, we joined Sister in Law (Gu Ma) family, Hubby brother's Mike, Niece's Michelle and Husband and Grace together for a Biking day.

We went to Glenmore Reservoir Bike trail. Alfred (Brother is law) is an expert in Bike, he tune all our bike and have so much knowledge about bicycle. He knows what is good Bike, and a good bike sure make different! Sure a good investment if you like Biking. (Lens Armstrong is his idol).
He influenced hubby a lot in this spot. Both of them very fit.

Biking, is a good family activities in Summer time.Hubby ride Brayden at the back seat (added about 40 lbs, being a regular biker and exercise a lot, this challenge is not a problem at all). Boy boy enjoyed it as his favourites cousins ride along together.

As for me? I am terrible lar,, with no regular exercise, I am trying so hard to catch up with them....... I managed to finished the whole trail, but there are few uphill I can't make it, have get down and walk instead.. (the next day I have no muscle pain ler except my butt is a bit sore,, perhaps not ride hard enough? so, this afternoon, Hubby make me get up and ride to the park again with Brayden.)

The whole trail is quite nice, we ride along the Reservoir, the sceneries along the trail is quite attrative as I saw a snake lar , beautiful wild flowers and small wood forest.Small incident happend, Grace had an accident.
For being new in this trail, unfamiliar route, few areas have some dangerous downhill, she crash and felt down, but everything cool, no major injuries (One tough lady she is).

About 2 hours from start to finished (can be less as we stops many time waiting for others in the intersection). it was 8:30pm, still sunny, Sunset is about 9:30pm.

We ALL have a good ride.This is Another of my Life's Simple Pleasures.. Being with family members,, keeping fit, enjoy nature.

Tour at firestation.

Last Tuesday, Brayden Pre-School organized a tour to Firestation.
In the Morning, Brayden didn't wants to go, he is very scare trying new things or going new place. Patiently explaine the goodness of this trip, he still didn't want to go, I then told him, he has no choice, all classmate and teacher is going, he have to go, I know he will like it once he is ther.
As soon he arrived the FireStation, when Firemen ask who wants to go on the truck, he quickly raise his hand wanna to go on the truck.

It's the kids first field trip, the Firestation just about 10 minutes walking distance from the Class.
Teacher asigned few kids to follow one Volunteer's (Kids parents) to walk with them to the station.

Fireman's Phillip and Fireman Thomas is incharge the tour,, they are so patient to show the kids around,asking them question and carry all kids inside the firetruck.
All of them haveso much fun,, some kids have so much questions and so smart remembering what was teaches in the class prio the tour. (except Brayden is quiet, where he don't understand much english, I explained to him in Cantonese.)

After the tour, kids get to ride a school bus back to the class.The tour is good but riding the school bus is even BETTER........

This is another of my moment of Pleasure,, Knowing my son conquer his fear and finding the enjoyment on something he resist in the beginning. I find my mission accomplish as a mother who success guide him to look forward, and end result is he didn't miss things in life...

Exploring at Calgary Zoo with Twotwo

Last Saturday (May27th) My sister's Elaine(Brayden greet her TwoTwo) have a company Party in Calgary Zoo.
She invited us (except Hubby have to work OT, he cant' go with us) , Brayden is so exited and mark his calender weeks before this.
We join the party, eat,drink and play,, The Zoo's staffs performed a show for the kids, and also some hoola hoop contest for kids and Adults, My sister almost win but lost to a young fellow, came in second.


Then we browsed around the Zoo,, too bad the weather was lighty rainy and cloudy,, the Flowers garden didn't look alive even with colorfull flowers.

We didn't stay too long, not enough time to go to Dinosaur Land and other attration as Brayden have a performance in his Auntie "Gu Ma" Churchs.

We went to My sister in law Miranda house (Brayden's Gu Ma) for dinner before heading to Church. My Brother in Law Alfred is a good cook, he make this wonderful dishes for us,
Best Soya ChickenBest Ox-tail with "tofu skins"For Dessert.. Hubby bought my favourites----> "Tiramisu"A Japanese baker who make the best tiramisu in Calgary, it taste so different from Original Italian Tiramisu, I guess the cake make it so light and not too sweet(very creamy, yummmm), just right for me and all of us think it's the best Tiramisu . (Maria, I am sure you like this too, a lot of Marcaspone Cheese ler,no fruits, you cheese lover!)

After meal, we all went to Church to see Brayden's and classmate performance.........
so funny,,, Brayden not really singing the song (in the picture, he actually imitate the goose sound,, and funny things is it's so match with the melody... , poor boy, he still thinking he's in the Zoo.
This is one of my Moments of Pleasure.. Being with my sister my own family is a joy,, seeing my son are love by my family is a joy and happiness. Knowing my son will respect and love in return to my family is my moments of pleasure.

"特別日期" 特别意義

小時候至到成年時都盼望和等待"此日"來臨，每個人的"此日"都是對個人來說比較重要的"日子"，往年的當"日"我也只會想著為自己歡樂慶祝，期待收密友的禮物來表示同親友人的祝福，大多時刻只想著自己歡樂。這"特別天"可以有好多不同形式上來慶祝，這種觀念是否社會中商業上的灌輸呢 ? 咁"特別天"真正的意義又是什麼?? H r m m mmm，相信每個人有唔同想法，是沒有準則的 。至于現今嘅我却有另外一種體會，也只因是自己已身為人母而有所啟發吧 ！

好多年前的"今天"媽媽幾經辛苦，十月懷胎，受盡有如十幾級大地震的痛苦，冒住生命危險帶出一個小生命！好幸福我來到一個溫暖大家庭，有姐姐哥哥又打又鬧又教又錫。
除此之 外，父母點樣窮或辛苦也供我们有屋住又有飽飯食，盡心盡力提供書教學，灌輸人生大道理給我哋全家。父母只為兒女勞心勞力做到最好從不計報酬，父母精神甚至偉大!

雖然我不成大才， 也不是蟲， 脚踏實地再加小孝心也算是父母親的安慰吧！

"這一天"我絕不得再為了"自己"去慶祝而忘了自己的生命是誰所給的！
以作表示，今天我該向天空對我去世的媽媽大聲說 "媽..多謝您、懷念您、我愛您" 我知道媽媽係聽到嘅，接收到嘅！之後再請爸爸食一餐好嘅！對我來說使用這種表示和觀念才是對這"特別日"真正的意義 。

隨意我也要許個願﹕" 盼望自己、親人、朋友身體健康、平安快樂、世界和平" (最好一举多得再中个大彩票.....正！......哈 )。

Congratulation to My dearest Nephew's

This is my Nephew's WhynHeng Daughter's Eunice ( just turn One year old couple of weeks ago).

His wife, YarLi just give birth to their Second baby in KL hospital. No detail yet, but we are very happy to hear both of them healthy especially my father, is his second great granddaughter's.

Congratulation.

Flowers 1

More flower pictures taken after I drop off my boy to Pre-School today (Thursday).

This is Lilac Flowers, there are many type of Lilac flowers, Syringa Vulgaris/Reflexa, I don't know the differences.
My colleague's Terry told me that Calgary have a Lilac Festival held every year in DownTown,, I live here for more than a decade, and seeing this blooming every Springs, I didn't know about this,, Shame on me.

These flowers also come in 7 colors, White/ purple/ Lavender/ Blue/ Violet/ Margenta, with very nice fragrant.....

Playing with Nicholas

Last Tue & Wed, as MIL is still not fully recover, we asked Sharon for another favor to babysits Brayden for another week. A BIG "THANK YOU" to her for this big favor.

Sharon took some pictures of Brayden and Nicholas outside playing, these pictures capture their plays outside as if they are serious discussing and experiment how to use or play the toys.

I dedicated this to Maria, who desperate for Boy.. Blowing bubble...........0 ooo 0 ooOOOOoooO0ooIt was sunny and hot that day, look at them!!! Natural suntan, perhaps a bit sunburnt.

Pasta dinner on Monday

MondayWent to Chianti (Italian Restaurant) for "Pasta" day, all pasta for adult $6.99 Per order, Kid eat for $4.99.Served with warm white bread. Balsamic and Olive Oil on side for dipping.Boy boy makes funny faces while I take his pictures. (he said: stop taking pictures, mommy!)
