Head injury

AhBoy had a Head injury at School today..

Poor Baby run too fast and hit his class mate's water bottle, a big cut, he cried a bit, good thing Daddy is there to check on him, soon it's bandage, he off to the field to play and forgotten the pain. To be safe, I told daddy to have Dr.Chin check on him..
He was quite ok when I saw him.. he show me the bandage and telling me the whole story about how things happened...
God Blessed us, and thank God just a minor accident.. but it already frick me out!.. I guess it's a Nature of being a mom.

Fail - IF

This week IF entry_Fail.. first entry Months ago, Boy-boy came home with his spelling test paper marking "0/10" .
I was shock, I asked him why? That was unusual, as a matter fact, first time this happened.
We found out he actually missed two words and the rest of the words got shifted, all got marked wrong, I teaches him not to delay or waste time for any words that he can't remember, mark an "X", skip and pay attention to the next one, this way he will not get none words right.
This is a skill he needs to learn as a failures., he knows it was bad, but he knows the failures will not going to stop him keep trying...keep learning..... so far he did good !

BoyBoy Happy Day!

Six years ago today, BoyBoy born at 12:59 pm, weight 5 lbs 14 oz. Today he weight 42 lbs.
I was 105 lbs before I have a child, now I weight........................

現今做父母甚艱難！Today parent

Bird watchingMy boy loves watching birds, influenced by his 11 years old cousin's Courtney, ever since, he loves borrow Birds book from the library to be able to identify birds in Canada, so far he surprise me how much he know about the name of many birds we watch in the park, we bought one book for him so he can keep it !仔仔受了佢Courtney表姐影響喜歡看鳥，人仔細細，也沒學識看字就向Library借關於鳥的書睇！但是咪睇佢小、每次見到鳥係附近、他可以打開書的 其中一頁來確認那一隻/一堆鳥㗎！都好準㗎(有時係表砠同佢睇過D書同講過哦)！不過也難的佢可以記得唔同烏類的特精，而有D鳥常見或已見過一次就會記得 D名可以立刻講出末添！唔錯！好安慰！

好過好似今日佢同D過份活躍D同学仔玩時，好似被人欺負。初時玩的好好、後來這三個小精靈朋友仔追迫佢，又拔D草同 拿石仔向仔仔掉，阿仔見到三個迫攻，阿仔開始逃避，但D小精靈朋友仔唔罷休紕續推佢，我見如此，点可以唔理咧? 佢太斯文了，大soft lar！ 我知我知道我要阿仔自已學防護、建立獨立，但見到時我又唔放心睇唔過眼，我走過去叫佢哋play nice，唔好 pick on 佢，佢哋才慢慢stop了。而阿仔就唔出声好似好 timid好尷尬，之後我說時间到了佢就跟我走。
當我問佢發生什么事，有事要同大人講或同D朋友仔講play nice or don't play and 学吓防身之術, 但佢又唔钟意我干涉佢的同学仔的嘢！唔多出聲，只係話ok好尷尬，我應該點去coach 我仔呢???
我担心如果我見唔到咧？佢咪好惨！我同daddy講番事情的經過，想到也會有心臟病！現今做父母甚艱難！

所 以今日佢daddy同我帶佢去park看鳥舒緩吓放鬆吓，多謝佢旣細表姐Courtney的教導 (而Courtney也只係十一歲) 佢有這看鳥 healthy hobby，再加上佢有我二姐佢旣Two姨媽常陪佢玩補番啦！) yeee?? 係咪應該係我要放鬆吓咧??
Today parent is facing a lot of challenge bringing up a child, I am facing some challenges now.
My son being pick on at school park, two to three over active kids pick on him, throw tiny rock and green grass on him saying pretend he is a little monster, they want to hunt him down, my boy got scare and didn't know how to stop them, I step in a asked the kids to play nice, (but my boy is timid or uncertain when I step in and help out, probably look too protective or embarrasses?) and I am very upsad, I teached him to talk to them to play nice, playing rough may get hurt, come to mommy when this situation happen. My boy is too easy and soft, so hard for me to watch my baby is facing the real world...... How should I help him learn ??Created a video clip on my boy ........ so easy to do, try it out!

Howdy...folks..

Calgary Stampede, Hee-Ha

The World larges 10 days outdoor event just ended last Sunday in Calgary.
We spent whole 12 hours in there on day 3 (family day, free admission until 9am), we still not able to finished watching or browse the whole place. Many things we miss out.

Boy had so much fun partly because he got many soft toys from playing games. He first thought he won it, but we explained to him, we the parent bought the tickets and actually we paid for it, there aren't free toy here, as matter of fact, those toy look petty bad, honestly I would rather buy nice one in ToyRus with the money we spent on those games, but is the fun that count lar..(sakit hati man, total 60 dollars on games and ride..)
Other than this, we watch the Superdog show, play at Kids Place, we also went to one of the exhibitions place (agricultural exhibition), a lot of things to see and learn here, I told boy this is a better place to be where so much see learn thru play, and some free goodies too, a healthy place to be ! ( especially for us the parent,fill with tons of fun with money spend less )

Because I work for the Media, I get in free everyday, but I only spend 1 day inside the ground :( still have so much to see.. wait for Next year.

Free Birdhouse from Garage Sale - 免費鳥屋

This cute birdhouse I got it in Community Garage Sale for FREE from last weekend.

During Spring/Summer time, Garage sale everywhere. People will bring out their unused house ware to clothing for sale in front of yard or in the garage drive way.
Me and my buddy Irene love shopping in garage sales, (our therapy treatment.. can be low cost or can be expensive..) We can spend whole afternoon browsing the street looking for sale, looking for good deal. Sometime we get goodie, sometime just JUNK. When it's almost end of the day, some houses still have tones of items not sold yet will have a FREE sign out for you to take, that is how I got this birdhouse Free. BoyBoy also got some free toys or good deal toys too.
I started to teach my son looks for quality and good deal! Hey! never too early to teach them managing money orr.. but he still have no clue.....

Dandelion all over the Lawn, Field and along the road , it a troublesome weed, it looks pretty when it flowers, it look terrible when it turn into white weed and dispersing all over, this happen all summer.
蒲公英開花時好似菊花浦滿地上就好靚嘅，但花瓣一脱下就會變成白色種子驅散到四处‧好难睇㗎！
Lilac is blossom now, found only one color in the park, will have to hunt for other colors later...........紫丁香季節.

2007 Happy Mother's Day 母親節

Happy mother's day!

Yesterday (Thursday) BB Pre-school invite me to the Mother's Day tea Party, all Mothers attended the party and all the kids performed a singing show for us and specially make little gifts for all their mother (of course get a little help from their teachers). The teachers also served us cookies and tea.
When the party end, BB and friends play outside, he suddenly ran to me and hand me a Dandelion then he said: for you mommy, Happy Mother's Day!

Nicky boy,, my boy play pal

This is Nicky, a looking boy(one of my girlfriend's son), my boy loves to play with Nicky.
When they play, they talk, talk, talk. I mean non-stop talking to each other. Discussing about how to play,what to play, about their favourites toy cars to whatever, they just can't stop talking.

I remembered the last time they play together was weeks ago, we the parent had Dim Sum for lunch and I drove both of them home , Nicky's parent warned me about Nicky talking habit, he may drive me nuts. I said we will see. Get in the car, they start their conversation about what to play. Somehow, my boy is talkactive too, they both spent about 8 hours playing together, and non-stop talking for 8 hours.......... I wonder their mouth gets sore..两個開心菓

亂講開心講又唔駛think.. 鐘意講乜就講乜囉！童真嗎！
果日佢吔就講足八个鐘又唔停咁玩... 而我耳仔就聽足足八个鐘、Nicky阿媽話佢阿仔好烦講唔停、不過我又幾享受哦！

BB good friend's Cody

Brayden have a few buddies at Pre-School. One of them is Cody, his is the very first friend BB met in School. BB talks about them a-lot at home, it's neat to listern to them play and getting along well, in the beginning, I thought my boy (cantonese spoken at home) may have problem communicating, apparently it was not a issues at all, Cody mommy told me they understand him well, everytime when school finished, we will let them have a few minutes run up the hills right besides the school. But when School end in June, they will say good-bye to each others, because everyone is going to different School for Kindergarden. So, We thought to sign up the soccer games for them to spend more time playing together, but when the list out, they all goes separate team. Anyway, we find that is not a problem, they all play in the same field. On the first day soccer practise, Cody were looking for Brayden in the field,he spoted him and ran to him, and they are so exited to see each other, funny things is they both wear same number t-shirt..(we just simply pick a t-shirt on the day) what a co-incident.. must be faith..

Soccer game cancelled!

Looking forward to BB second game, but whole day raining, so the game cancelled.
However, BB not upsad at all, he loves playing outside when it's raining. Only because, he likes to check out the earth worm on the ground, he will pick them up and put them back in the soil area, he is a saver because he knews this worm is good for plants and flowers.BB is very chicken when come to bugs, but to worm or reptiles,, he has no fear. I am tickle when I see him picking up the worm with bare hand.. yark! but he yark me when I eat my durian last time!... what is my point? just being funny? did you laugh?I wanna dedicate this post to my oldest sister in Seremban, Malaysia. A greatest sister's I have who always praise my work and so much compliment thru her email. This is what she said to me...................................

Soccer for the first time..

Today May 1st,, busy month for us.. BB sign up few programs. Gorvement is funding kids below 6 six years old a hundred dollars each month, se are using this money for BB to participate swimming lesson and soccer games..
Today is the first day and first time playing outdoor soccer,, he loves it and I really enjoy it too. So fun and hilarious when looking at those kid and mine on the field.

clean up like daddy

Every weekend hubby will clean up his 2 of his water tanks ( a water plants tank and gold fish tank ), I am quite proud of these water plants he grow so well and so pretty to watch, (look at the tall plant that stick out the tank, it will flowers too.) I think it's just because he maintain it well with patient and cares.
Boy boy loves to help out, but there's always things he can't do or touch, so, he imitate his father to clean the tank, he took his mini gage (with toy lizard as pet) to upstairs bathroom and said to me he needs to borrow my cleaning sponges to start his clean up job. There he is..

Boy Boy is really closed to my sister's E. She got a lot of patient with him, and he got a lot of love to her. Kids are simple minded, when they can feel the genuine love, they will returns tons of love..
E can spend whole day playing with Boy Boy, and she will listen to him whatever he likes her to do, how to play, what to play.. Just like this picture here, he wants his Aunt's to sit on the chair for him to draw a portrait..
She spoil him. Honestly, Most parent like their kids to beloved by anyone..especially family members. E not just spoiling him, she very kind to my family, I really appreciate her loves to us.

(mind you, I too take a lots of granted on my sisters... like get them take me out dinner or get me some goodies..all because they are my older sisters, they got no choice! Wahahaha ( maybe they do?) The real reasons is I always being a nice, well behave and lovable sister lor :P .
Not to forget to mentioned my oldest sister in Malaysia, a sister's who have a good heart and with lots of unconditional love to our family, I really appreciate and thankful to this family. 我..真的不枉此生！ )This is baby boaboa, Et's son.. thank Et,, you are a very kind person!

Brayden's Little Pets仔仔toy pets.

He wish to have pets like Turtle, Birds, Snake or Camelion.
Snake? No way, I can't handle 蛇蟲鼠蟻，also We don't think he is old nor mature enough to get pet like this, We bought him this "little pets toys" to fullfilled his dream for pets awhile ago, he being collecting them since. "sorry boy, until you are older and responsible, you will have to play with this little pet for now."
This toys is tiny, has cute big eyes and wobbling head, it also have a magnet under a foot,
boy boy sometime will stick it on a medal, in a cage or hiding it. It looks so cute and fun to play with. (when it's new and fresh!.. soon will seen else way or no way found!)
it's so adorable and irressible, so I too collect a few for myself.
