June 22nd, the day my mom pass away 25 years ago.

She always in our memory that last forever......... and we still miss her!

Drifting - my condolences to a dear blogger friend's

This week IF topic is Drifting.I wanna to draw something today to a special blogger friend's Bella Sinclaire, who lost her husband last week. She is one wonderful lady I met in the blog world through IF community and love by many other bloggers too.
When I heard the news from Yoon See, Words cannot even begin to express my sorrow.

Special gift to my boy!

Time flies.. the Prince is Seven in few days!

Happy Birthday, my son!

Note: He posed all this action for me because I directed him.
I wanted to make a special birthday card for him. I visualize him climbing on number seven, so I got him to pretend he is climbing.
In the actions, he was climbing on the sofa, jumping up and down, running around, standing still ( no more than 10 seconds, of course!) just like little monkey monkeying around...
We have lots of fun playing while taking pictures. We giggle, we shout CUT /Retake and make a mess... He did not complain this time (he dislike pose too long for pictures) because he too wants to be a Director and direct me to pose for him!
Of course, I do as I told, because I knew...

This will be the moment that last forever..........

CUBE SIZE FRENCH TOAST

Lately, I love making french toast for breakfast, I enjoy cooking but with busy work at work, I only cook in the weekend now! But I love making this dish because it's tasty and easy!
I bought a whole bread without any slice to pieces.
I cut them about 2 1/2" thick, and divided by into 4 pieces, I soak the cube bread into the egg, sugar, milk mixture. Next, Heat the pan and butter the pan, and slowly pan fry the bread on all 6 sides.....
Serve with maple syrup.........

When I almost finish color this illustration, my boy walked in, he complimented my artwork, then he pause and point at the screen, and said: " why this part so pale? The moo moo nibble should be pink, mom!"

Mom: ....... oh! so I see" So I make it pink no more a pale looking moo ! :)

Father and Son hobby!

My husband setting up the Salt water fish tank for months now.
And I was quite impress by it, it's his first Salt water fish tank!He has regular fish tank for years but never had a Salt water fish tank, and I don't really care about his fish tank before. Now, with his many months of hard work, research, patiently set up and decorate the tank, I slowly find it quite unique and enjoy watching this colorful water world. As a matter of fact, my boy is learning so much about Salt Water fishes and reefs. He even tell me about their type, diet and behavior. I was amaze!I tried to teach my boy to draw, to gain his interests in drawings, but he doesn't really care much! However, with his dad fish tank hobby, he love it and wanting to read more books about Marine life (he always love animal books and watch animal channels). He love sharing his knowledge with me, well, sort of like a teacher teaching ! And I really enjoy his enthusiasm in sharing and he sound so interesting!Daddy is a good influential ! They both have strong bond!
